The National Recycling Programme
(NRP) was launched in April 2001 and is being introduced progressively.
Under this programme, public waste collectors that have been
awarded contracts to provide refuse services are also required
to provide door-to-door collection services for recyclable materials
from the households in their sectors. Presently, four public
waste collectors are providing the collection services in the
nine sectors as shown in the map below.
The customer hotlines of the four public waste collectors for
feedback, enquiries and requests for commencement/termination
of collection service are as follows:
